This MAC foundation took me pleasantly by surprise. I initially mistook the box for an advent calendar, but to my delight, it turned out to be this new foundation.

I love a radiant finish, and this foundation offers just the right level of glow—neither too dewy nor overly luminous. It provides light to medium coverage and is effortless to apply and blend.

As an NW15, which is a neutral warm tone, this foundation is a perfect match for me. The texture is light—almost weightless—and you can sense the skincare aspect in it. Although it’s not explicitly specified if the serum used is their newish Serumizer, the brand suggests starting with that and then applying the Studio Radiance foundation. However, I believe this could be optional, as the foundation likely contains serum. MAC claims that the formula consists of 80% skincare and 20% foundation—a statement that resonates with its feel. It has notable ingredients like 10% hyaluronic acid, olive oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E, and 29 other skin-focused elements.

In the close-up image, it’s evident that the foundation provides a subtle luminosity and effectively evens out my skin tone, although in hindsight, I could have blended it even better. For those familiar with their MAC shade, this foundation is a sure win, especially given its skincare benefits. With claims such as “+209% instant hydration for plumper, smoother-looking, and more radiant glow” in one week, it stands out among other foundations. If you’re interested, it comes in 56 shades and is priced at £39.
