Welcome to the Ateh Beauty Blusher review! Ateh, recognized from This Morning and a prominent figure in the beauty journalism world, has ventured into creating her own brand. The focus? Inclusive products with a good dose of pigmentation. The creme blushers are seriously intense – a little goes a long way, especially with deeper tones. Their dewy finish and vibrant color payoff gives Bobbi Brown’s creations a run for their money.
The blush, named The Blush of Dreams, contains cocoa butter, marshmallow extract, and aloe vera. While it applies better with a brush for a more diffused look, using fingers is equally effective. The pigmentation is strong, so start with a light touch and build up as needed – there’s no toning down once it’s on.
The range consists of three wearable shades – Watson Watermelon (pink), Radiant Rav (orange), and Love Plum Plum (deepest tone). I found all of them to be flattering, even the Love Plum Plum, which is not my typical color choice.
On application, I tried Love Plum Plum, a color outside my comfort zone, and surprisingly, it looked pretty good!
In the swatch, from bottom to top, Watson Watermelon, Radiant Rav, and Love Plum Plum. I haven’t yet experimented with it, but I suspect that mixed with a bit of balm, these could also work as fantastic lip sheens. They are priced at £25 each.
