I have been attempting to find a replacement for this now discontinued lip balm for quite some time now. While I’ve had some success with custom lipsticks, I have not found a good match on the market. Paying £37 for a lip balm seems excessive, so I have been searching for a more affordable alternative.

While browsing in my local K beauty store, I stumbled upon the Toboco brand, and their balm in Flush Cherry caught my eye as a promising option. It’s a nice balm that does the job well.

The Tocobo Flush Cherry balm seems like a good alternative.

The similarity between Gucci Rene Pink and Tocobo is striking.

The Gucci balm is at the bottom, while the Tocobo balm is at the top. The Tocobo balm is priced at £12.50. While I am happy with the Tocobo option, my ideal choice would be the Charlotte Tilbury Balm in Rene Pink. Could it ever become a reality?
