[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I have mixed feelings about the Embedded In Burgundy Palette from MAC. Can you spot the rising trend of burgundy shades? The variety of plum, claret, and maroon tones continues to expand, indicating the color palette for autumn.

The deepest shade, Wanna Chat?, in the bottom left corner was challenging to blend and left an uneven finish on my lid. In contrast, the shade Loading, next to it, a lilac shot metallic, applied smoothly on my lid, offering a velvety lustred look. I absolutely loved it!

You can clearly see the difference between the two shades. The matte finish of Wanna Chat? made it more challenging to apply smoothly, resulting in a patchy look.

The shades, from bottom to top, are Haux, Naked Lunch, Mega Mocha, Wanna Chat?, Loading, and Giga Glitz. Most reviews of this palette do not mention the issue with Wanna Chat?, so it could be an isolated incident. Available for £30.
