[unpaid/purchase/affiliate] In my quest to find high-quality products at reasonable prices, I decided to try out the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glow 2-in-1 Serum & Moisturizer, which costs £3.99 for 50ml. The packaging may not scream luxury, but that’s because it’s not trying to.

However, my hopes of discovering a hidden gem in this serum/moisturizer hybrid were quickly dashed. It does provide some hydration to the skin, albeit relying heavily on glycerin for that. The fine print mentions vegan coconut yogurt, without truly explaining its benefit for the skin. Furthermore, the lactobacillus ferment that allows for the ‘probiotic’ claim is listed fourth from the bottom, indicating minimal impact. Citric acid, an exfoliant, is third from the bottom, justifying the ‘glow’ claim. In essence, it’s a straightforward product with smart marketing. While it does offer light hydration, in my opinion, it doesn’t deliver much else. However, if you’re looking for a basic, affordable product, then the price is hard to argue with. It’s currently available for £3.99, but I wouldn’t recommend paying the original price of £7.99 (I learned my lesson!).
