[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I appreciate bar cleansers and was intrigued to try the new CeraVe Hydrating Cleansing Bar. Designed for normal to dry skin, I found it to have a neutral effect – my skin didn’t feel dry or overly hydrated afterward, which is suitable for me. I don’t expect a cleansing bar to act as a moisturizer, so this result was fine for me.

With no added fragrance, this bar is suitable for all skin types. Similar to my own cleansing bar, it can be used all over the body. It contains petroleum in a small amount, which didn’t concern me. It doesn’t produce a high level of foam, but it melts well with warm water, providing a solution for gentle skin cleansing.

Although I’m unsure about using it on my lashes to remove makeup as claimed (it didn’t remove mascara for me), I found it to be gently cleansing and effective in removing makeup residue. Overall, this is a dependable bar for cleansing the skin, enriched with hyaluronic acid and ceramides (underrated ingredients in the beauty industry other than by Elizabeth Arden). The bar’s thickness and ease of use make it ideal for travel, particularly for removing sunscreen and salt residue. Priced at £8.00 HERE, it’s an excellent budget-friendly option that performs well. Boots (linked) currently has a CeraVe promotion of 3 for 2, so you might get this product for free if you’re stocking up on other items :-).
