[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’ve been experimenting with Nails Inc Mani Markers and wanted to share a quick tutorial on achieving a minimalist dot manicure. This style has garnered many compliments for its subtle charm that goes unnoticed until it captivates the eye. The best part is, it’s a simple look that anyone can recreate effortlessly. Even without advanced skills, you can easily achieve this look.

To start, apply a base coat like Chanel La Base Camelia. I prefer this one, but any base coat you have at home will suffice.

Choose a sheer polish for a subtle touch of color. I’ve used Got Me Glowing from Nails Inc. This polish adds brightness and smoothness with a hint of iridescence, available for £9 HERE.

For the dot, I’m using the red shade. In a previous manicure, I used a beige-toned sheer polish with a black dot. The Lipstick Red polish is available for £5 HERE.

Decide where you want the dot and press the nib down on a piece of cardboard to ensure a good amount of polish at the tip. Then, apply the dot. It doesn’t have to be at the base of the nail like shown – feel free to experiment with placement on each nail. Finish with a quick-dry top coat; any will do, but I’ve used Chanel Le Gel Coat, currently on offer at John Lewis for £21.25 instead of £25 HERE. And that’s it. Take a look at the beige/black dot below with my well-loved fingerless gloves – something I wouldn’t repurchase from Accessorize!
