[unpaid/purchase/affilialte] Adding a touch of perfect pink can brighten up any gloomy January day. This V-neck vest I received as a gift from my mum is a true delight. I had been on the lookout for the perfect knitted vest and finally found this one on M&S just before Christmas. My mum ordered it and it went on a little journey around Britain before reaching me in London, having traveled from Scotland to Yorkshire before finally landing in my hands.

I recently purchased a pair of Levi 725 High Rise Boot Cut Jeans (28/30) in light blue (see below). While they fit perfectly a week ago, the holiday season has made them a bit snug, but I’m working on it. Paired with the vest and a shirt, the outfit gives off a spring vibe yet keeps me warm in the winter.

Although I always thought skinny jeans were my go-to, the H&M flares changed my perspective. I’ve practically lived in them and even bought a second pair. The vest can also be styled with a lightweight (thermal?) polo neck or crew neck, or even a t-shirt—although I personally don’t get the concept of a warm body and cold arms. You could also throw it over a dress. My vest, sized 12/14, has the right amount of drop and looseness that I love. It’s also available in black for £45.
