[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] It’s been a while since I last encountered & Other Stories, but readers frequently suggest their fragrances, and now I understand why.

The initial spray of Midnight Encore distinctly features identifiable notes – notably pepper (which might induce a slight nose twitch), fresh fig leaves, smooth woods, and an aquatic touch from the coconut water. I admire a fragrance that isn’t just a mishmash of notes that overwhelm the senses by being too overpowering all at once.
Midnight Encore
While I didn’t detect any salted musk, I doubt the average customer (like me) would be able to pinpoint that – I have no idea how it’s supposed to smell, but there’s a green aspect (reminiscent of tomato leaf to me) that surpasses the fig, possibly the jasmine leaves. It’s certainly a more intricate fragrance than I anticipated – I found myself reapplying about midway through the day – and quite intriguing. I believe it’s suitable for anyone who avoids florals but appreciates a fresh, green scent with a sweet and mysterious undertone, offering excellent value at £28 HERE. The Midnight Encore Hand Soap has a sweeter aroma compared to the actual fragrance – as expected, it’s not as potent but leaves a delightful scent after drying your hands – again, a great bargain at £6 HERE.
