[unpaid/sample] I had the opportunity to try MOAM Organics’ body care products but decided to opt for their laundry care range. This was a refreshing change for me. As I become more mindful of the household cleaning products I use, I find it essential to explore new options, especially in a somewhat monotonous category. Recently, I discovered the aromatic laundry care set by Aromatherapy Associates, which I adore, although it’s a bit pricey. Hence, I believe it’s suitable for occasional rather than regular use.

The scent is incredibly fresh! With a blend of lavender, geranium, and cedarwood oils, the fragrance is invigorating and reminiscent of a forest, offering a clean and soothing aroma. While pine isn’t specifically mentioned, the combination leans in that direction. If you were to immerse yourself in it, you’d feel relaxed, calm, and pampered, which is ideal for how you’d like your linens to smell.

The range includes a fabric conditioner and detergent, both highly concentrated. Each pouch should provide around 60 washes, although it’s crucial not to pour excessive amounts. I tend to be more generous than necessary. The entire process is delightful, from the initial pour (which releases a strong scent) to the wash (where I could smell it emanating from the washing machine) and finally to the drying process. Even after drying, a subtle scent lingers, ensuring a pleasant aroma remains.

When it comes to eco-friendliness, MOAM excels. Once you’ve finished with the products, you can request a freepost envelope, and the brand’s recycling partners will handle the recycling process. However, it might be more efficient if they include an envelope with each order since most users will likely pour the contents directly into the aluminum bottles. Speaking of the bottles, they make refillable laundry products seem more practical. The generous size of the bottles is a positive feature, especially compared to other smaller alternatives. The liquids in the pouches are free from undesirable components, ideal for those making sustainable choices for their laundry needs. Priced at £38.50 for the starter set, which includes two large bottles and two pouches capable of 60 washes each, this represents good value. In terms of washing performance, there were no indications that it fell short compared to my usual washing capsules. Typically, I wash at temperatures below 40 degrees and opt for a stain remover beforehand if needed. Interested individuals can find out more here.
