[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I believe this will be my final CHANEL post for a while since they have launched quite a few products in a short period. I anticipate a gap in releases as there has been an abundance of CHANEL content in recent weeks. As I write this, I realize I still need to review the nail polishes… Currently, I own two of the CHANEL Les 4 Ombres de Byzance palettes out of the four available. Although they are currently out of stock, I expect they will be restocked soon.

The top palette is Parure Baroque, and the bottom one is Parure Imperial. As expected, they swatch beautifully, are easy to apply, and do not smudge. I usually prefer a single eyeshadow look – just one color, maybe some liner, mascara, and I’m good to go. However, with Parure Imperial, I tried something different by using the green shade as a lower lid liner (both on the waterline and under the eye) and the metallic maroon on my eyelid.

Additionally, I went for a full foundation look, which is a departure from my usual routine. It was a fun change!

Despite the predominantly sunset theme of this palette, I appreciated the unique color mix that sets it apart from other similar palettes. Even though these particular shades are currently out of stock (you may find them at airports if you’re traveling), they serve as excellent indicators of the upcoming autumn trends and can be substituted by similar shades from other brands. Stock is available on the French CHANEL site HERE.
This palette is called Parure Imperiale.

The color combination in this palette may not be my usual style, except for the shimmery white gold which is truly stunning. However, it is perfect for creating a glamorous eye look for those occasions when you want to go all out. I anticipate using the green from Baroque and the white gold from Imperiale frequently in the coming months. For shades similar to these, check out MAC That’s Showbiz Baby and Shroom HERE for products that are not exact dupes but fall in a similar rich byzantine color palette. For shades resembling the reddish tones, consider Cranberry and Sketch on the same website. On a side note, MAC is currently offering a free Lashes to Lips Kit worth £40 with a purchase of £65, which might be a good deal if you enjoy shopping for seasonal gifts throughout the year.
