[unpaid/sample] To The Fairest, a niche fragrance brand, launched the exquisite Aubine, a scent that immediately captivated my senses. The brand was unknown to me until now, making it a delightful addition to my perfume collection. I recently received a sample of Aubine, and I must say, it perfectly aligns with my love for orange blossom, both in its name and scent.

Aubine is described as a contemporary white floral fragrance, aiming to encapsulate the radiant ambiance of a solstice sunrise – a sensation few have savored, yet one we all yearn for, provided it wasn’t quite so early in the day. It’s a romantic concept that evokes anticipation, fantasy, and potential, resonating profoundly with those emotions. The blend is undeniably sensual, with rich, heady notes of gardenia and orange blossom.

I tend to associate candles with specific rooms in my house, and Aubine, without a doubt, belongs in the bedroom, exuding a sweet, voluptuous essence that sets the mood. It develops into a honeyed fleuressence, which I had to research myself, and it truly is the magical ingredient. Described as ‘sweet, narcotic, intense, and warm,’ these qualities are all apparent in this blend. Surprisingly, I don’t discern the honey, but I can vouch for the other descriptors. Priced at £85 HERE, the candles are £45, and the Satin Body Oil is £38. Additionally, 2ml sample sizes are available for £5, a seemingly high price, but considering that a little goes a long way and an £85 investment in an untried fragrance demands caution, it seems a prudent choice.
