[Unpaid/Sample] This week unexpectedly became all about fragrances, and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying exploring them. Jo Loves Pomelo has been a staple in my collection for years now – it’s truly one of my all-time favorite scents. To me, it evokes feelings of joy, summer, and optimism. Since its launch in 2011, I’ve always had a bottle of Pomelo on my shelf. I’ve even introduced it to friends, so it’s become a must-have for our evening outings. If you haven’t come across it, Pomelo is a vibrant citrus fragrance that feels light, fresh, and invigorating. If you prefer sticking to lighter scents even in winter, this ray of sunshine is definitely worth exploring.
Now, onto what’s new in this line – Jo Loves has introduced a refillable option (I stand corrected from last week when I thought refills were disappearing!) which reduces packaging waste by 72% HERE. These refills are available for the Bath & Shower Gel, Body Lotion, and the Home Candle. Interestingly, I recently learned that Pomelo is the best-selling fragrance from Jo Loves, and I can see why.
On a personal note, I’m being just as particular as my mother – I wish there were a dedicated hand wash in the lineup. While the Bath and Shower Gel serves the purpose, having a product labeled as ‘hand wash’ would make the experience feel less wasteful. In 2011, Pomelo was solely available as a fragrance, but now, after a decade, it’s offered in various forms, except for hand wash and a solid soap – the latter of which I’d definitely love to see. For an indulgent experience, consider the Bath Cologne at £55 for an immersive and aromatic treat.
