[Unpaid Sample/Affiliate/Ad] With wedding season in full swing, let’s consider the new Givenchy Irresistible Hair Mist as an appealing alternative to a full-on fragrance. A delicate aura of scent in your hair on such a beautiful occasion adds an extra touch of beauty.

Initially, the opening notes of Irresistible feel a bit overly fruity and pear-like, leading to a clash with the ambrette. However, as time passes, it becomes more subtle and skin-like, allowing the gentle fragrances of rose and iris to emerge, offering sweet and powdery undertones. This airy version feels more appealing. It appears that for my taste, less intensity is more desirable for this fragrance. The creamy texture is delightful, and while it’s uncommon, the creamy pear note is quite lovely. If someone mentioned magnolia in this mist, I’d easily believe it. Upon comparing it to the original, I find it similarly gourmand in its intensity. It’s also noteworthy that the original fragrance features a small pink ribbon around the neck, which is absent in this version.

One undeniable quality is the bottle design – the frosted and faceted finish exudes romance and elegance. For brides or grooms whose scent preferences align with this composition, I believe this would make a stunning wedding day fragrance. It’s available for £31.85 at Escentual HERE, instead of the usual £38.
